Water Update

With a new well dug, we are currently awaiting lab results required by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).  We have expedited the tests and anticipate all test results to be in by this Friday.  We will be following the Corrective Action Plan (CAP) approved by the state DEP to ensure that all students and personnel are safeguarded.  It is our intentions, if the water samples come back favorable, with no treatment required, and with DEP final approval, to have the new well connected sometime next week.  In the interim, your child will be able to purchase a bag lunch, prepared off site and transported to the school daily following the approved plan by the county health department. We will resume 'regular' lunch purchase as quickly as possible- hopefully before the conclusion of next week.

Thank you for your attention to the above.

                                                                 Interim Superintendent
