Fourth through sixth grade students at Fredon School participate in Accelerated Reader during Library Period. The students read books in their reading level, take quizzes on an Accelerated Reader Program and earn points for each quiz passed.  Each student is given a goal for the marking period and if they reach that goal they get to attend Hogsmede Day at the end of the marking period.  Hogsmede is a town within the Harry Potter book where you can purchase wizarding items.  Fredon's Hogsmede town has four stores, Honeydukes (candy shop), Weasley's Wizarding Store (toys, puzzles), Sports Shop (sporting goods) and a Harry Potter Shop (books, wands, etc.).   Each student that meets their goal gets an invitation to Hogsmede Day where they receive Sickles (wizarding money) to spend based on how many points they have earned.  The students can shop and spend their money that they have earned.
