Promising Practices

Fredon School was nationally recognized by Character.org as a Promising Practice School. Character, org is one of the most widely recognized organizations when it comes to promoting student and school growth both inside and outside of the classroom.  Every year, their organization recognizes schools who stand above and beyond when it comes to the programs and initiatives provided to and for students. This year, Fredon school was recognized not once, but twice for the quality programs we provide. The first "Promising Practice" we were recognized for is called "Opportunities for Upstanders and Collaborative Connections" for fostering an environment that allows our older students to be leaders in the school and to help support the growth of our younger students. The second practice we were recognized for is called, "Collaborative Support and Sharing Resources for Improved Instruction" for our unique way of tapping into the collective expertise of our staff as well as the instructional resources we have in the building to improve our instruction across the school. We are very proud of this great honor because it highlights what we already know to be true- Fredon School is a special place to learn and grow!
