Fredon school was fortunate enough to host Tim Rohrer, a young adult with autism and a disability advocate who taught us about inclusion, acceptance, and kindness. He is also the author of Timmy's Story books.

Good afternoon,

Due to an unforeseen power outage and an estimated restore time after 3PM by JCPL, Fredon School is calling an emergency 1 pm dismissal today, Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Buses will depart the school at 1 PM. Email is the best way to communicate with the main office at wgrosso@fredon.org.

Dear PTC and Fredon Community, Wow! There truly are no words to express the gratitude ALL of the staff felt today when we saw our brand new faculty room! To say that we were in shock is an understatement. We are grateful for the love, generosity, and hard work that went into this amazing project. From the brand new appliances and the handcrafted wooden table to the fully stocked fridge and cabinets, we are just so incredibly thankful to you, the Fredon Community! This surprise upgrade to our space put a smile on all of our faces! It’s a fabulous room that we will all cherish for years to come. Tomorrow begins our Earth Day spirit week! Our students also have the opportunity to earn extra golden tickets by completing an earth friendly bingo sheet. They can exchange their bingo sheet for Golden tickets in homeroom. Happy Earth week! 🌎🌳🌍

Second grade had a big surprise today! We got to listen to a live event from two outstanding authors whose books we greatly enjoy! Dave Pilkey, the author of the Dogman and Captain Underpants graphic novels, and Lauren Tarshis, the author of The I Survived series were live through Storyvoice on Scholastic today. We got to listen to parts of their new books, as well as listen to their inspiration for writings. Our second graders got a special surprise with a live drawing of Dogman and his side kick Petey!

Reminder that this week, Fredon student council is collecting supplies for OSCAR! OSCAR recently experienced catastrophic damage to their kennel due to a fire. We will be collecting supplies this week. There will be a box in the main office. Thank you for your support!
