This week sixth graders performed plays based on Greek mythology. They performed “The Monster in the Cave” about Odysseus and the Cyclops, “Into the Burning Sun” about Icarus and Daedalus and “Hunting a Snake-headed Monster" about Perseus and Medusa. All three performance groups deserve a huge round of applause.

World Language Month is off to a great start! Here's a phrase from our first language - "Je vais bien." Can you guess what language it is?





The fifth graders are reading The City of Ember in ELA. We planted bean seeds in class to coincide with a symbolic part of the novel. If you see the students, ask them why!

This week in Chef it Up the students were able to decorate two cupcakes. The first one was a strawberry shortcake cupcake. The second was a chocolate cupcake with a handmade rose 🌹 made with fondant. The kids had a blast! 🧁

Chef it up club is off to a wonderful start! The students made homemade dill pickles, fried pickle dip and were able to plant fresh dill to go home! Thank you to the PTC for making this club happen !











4th grade artists created fish prints using the ancient Japanese art of gyotaku.
