This week sixth graders performed plays based on Greek mythology. They performed “The Monster in the Cave” about Odysseus and the Cyclops, “Into the Burning Sun” about Icarus and Daedalus and “Hunting a Snake-headed Monster" about Perseus and Medusa. All three performance groups deserve a huge round of applause.

World Language Month is off to a great start! Here's a phrase from our first language - "Je vais bien." Can you guess what language it is?

The fifth graders are reading The City of Ember in ELA. We planted bean seeds in class to coincide with a symbolic part of the novel. If you see the students, ask them why!
