Dr. Kitchin, aka ‘the Fox’, celebrating pajama day for week of respect.

Due to the anticipated rain, we are going to move our Walk to School Day to Thursday 10/6. If you would like to participate, please arrive at Lodestar Park at about 7:50 so that we can begin walking by 8am.

Today is pajama day - put bullying to bed!
The challenge today is to do random acts of kindness to promote respect and positivity.

World Day of Bullying
Tomorrow is pajama day! Put bullying to bed.

Tomorrow we celebrate the beginning of our week of respect by wearing BLUE! Blue is worn to show solidarity to stop bullying and cyber bullying.

Our kindergarteners and 1st graders are learning the song “la araña pequeñita” in Spanish class. Our “pet” spider is not itsy bitsy though. He’s huge! Ask them to sing for you! 🕷🌧☀️

Our 4th Graders finished their week of aquatics and did an amazing job! What a way to end the month of September!

The sixth graders kicked off their study of ancient civilizations with a mini unit on archaeology. They explored how we study the past and wrapped up their learning with a cookie excavation simulation project.

4th Graders are really enjoying their time at KRHS for Aquatics! Thank you Mrs. Reynolds!

Just a reminder....Fredon is participating in National Walk to School Day in an effort to promote exercise and healthy habits with our students! Please join us on Wednesday October 5th! We can not wait to see the turn out!

Señora Karl went “shopping” in our new Teacher Resource room and found some Unifix cubes. They’re not just for math! Reviewing our Spanish color vocabulary. Can’t wait for our speed rounds next week combining number and color vocabulary while speaking in frases completas en español. ¡Buen trabajo!

Third-grade students were treated to a Book Tasting Party. Mrs. Gushea and Ms. DeFilippis served trays of Mystery, Fiction, Fantasy, and Nonfiction books for the students to "taste." The students talked to each other about the genre of books they liked and new genres that they would like to try. It was a great day to be in third grade!

Today in Writer's Workshop the fifth graders wrote for 15 minutes on the following topic: Your teacher gives you a camera and asks you to take pictures of three things you like at school. Explain and describe what you take pictures of and why you like these things.
Ask them what they wrote about!
