SAVE THE DATE: SUPERINTENDENT SEARCH INPUT SESSION
Tuesday, June 4, 2024, 7 PM – 8 pm at Fredon Township School
The Fredon BOE needs your input in the most important decision that the Board will make: choosing the next Superintendent for our school district.
We invite all interested FTS family members and members of our community to join our Search Consultant, Kathleen Helewa, to discuss what you think is most important for the Board to consider in choosing our next educational leader.
Ms. Helewa will discuss the timeline and process for the search process as well. Pre-registration is not required.
This is not a public meeting of the FTS Board of Education and school board members will not be present. All outcomes of the session will be presented to the Board in full, anonymously.
For those who are unable to attend, an online input survey will be made available soon. Announcements regarding the survey are forthcoming; stay tuned to this page for more news!
All outcomes from the input sessions and the surveys will be of crucial assistance to the Board throughout the search process in determining which candidates would make the best fit for our District.

As part of our observance of Memorial Day, 4th and 6th Grade students teamed up to complete a STEM project in which they designed and built working flag poles.
Kindergarten released some of their Butterflies today!! We would like to thank the FEF for purchasing the caterpillars for our classrooms! The students loved watching their lifecycles from 🐛 to 🦋!!
3rd grade students are teaching 1st grade students about animals by going on a
safari.
Fredon School PTC Variety Show
3rd grade students started a Clean Up Club at school! They came up with the idea, presented their plan, and then implemented it! At recess, a few days a week, they take 10 minutes to pick up trash to help keep our school grounds clean and beautiful! Thank you Mrs. Douglas for the supplies and supporting our students' ideas, and thank you 3rd graders, for making a difference in our school community!

-Tomorrow, each student will b echoosing a special Mother's Day surprise for FREE in lieu of the flower sale.
